He never said good-bye to his children without saying, “I love you.” He worked hard his whole life. He was a dedicated and loving father, husband and grandfather. Joyce had been widowed and also had six grown children who survive him.īob had a passion for old cars and tractors, tinkering and repairing equipment, fishing, he enjoyed old-time music and played harmonica, wood working, playing cards. Over the years he volunteered as a police reserve officer, was active in 4-H and the KC's as well as the Young Farmers Association in his earlier years.īob married Theresa Kalina of Northfield in 1956, and together they raised a family of six children on the Reeder farm who survive him: Mary Kay (John) Keegan Maureen (Glenn Kelley) Reeder John (Carol Leonnig) Reeder Jim (Mindy) Reeder Melissa (John Hahn) Reeder Joseph (Sandra Voelker) Reeder, as well as 11 grandchildren.īob was a dedicated and attentive caregiver to Theresa who was disabled by multiple sclerosis for the last two decades of her life before she passed away in 2005.īob found love again when he married Joyce Vasko in 2007, and they made their home in Montgomery. Canice Catholic Church in Kilkenny on Thursday, July 24, at 10:30 a.m. at Keohen Memorial Funeral Home in Montgomery. Visitation was held Wednesday, July 23 from 4 p.m. John Robert (Bob) Reeder, 84, of Montgomery, passed away on July 19, 2014.
